From a sentence to a character, connect understanding with practice.
Choose a theme and explore the context.
Choose a theme that interests you. Read the sentences and explanations to understand their meaning and tone. Then pick a character from a sentence to begin writing practice.
WATCH
Watch a demonstration, stroke by stroke, and see the character take shape. Replay it or adjust the demonstration speed whenever you need to. Stroke order is a guide, not a test.
FOLLOW
Play the demonstration and write freely alongside it. You do not have to keep up with the animation, and you will not lose points for writing at a different pace.
TRACE
Trace the faint character outline to become familiar with its shape and stroke placement. You can also practice using your own stroke order.
WRITE
Write freely in the blank space. When you want to start again, clear your strokes and try once more.
Hear the pronunciation and explore the meaning.
Every sentence and individual character has a human voice recording, together with pinyin, zhuyin, and meanings to connect sound, meaning, and written form. Recordings are for listening reference; speech recognition and pronunciation scoring are not currently provided.
Switch freely and practice at your own pace.
The four modes do not need to be completed in order, and there are no scores or levels to pass. Watch again, listen again, or practice just one character—the choice is yours.
